Frequent questions

Vegetable candles have environmental and health benefits. They are biodegradable, renewable and burn cleaner, producing less smoke and waste. Plus, they burn slower, meaning they last longer than paraffin candles.

Aromas can improve your well-being since smell is closely linked to the brain, so they can help you relax, reduce stress, improve your mood, stimulate concentration or creativity...

It is important to note that the response to scents may vary from person to person, as individual preferences and reactions may be different.

Vegetable waxes, such as soy in this case, come from plants that are natural, biodegradable and renewable sources. On the other hand, paraffin is a petroleum derivative, a limited source, non-renewable and non-biodegradable.

It is also worth noting that the combustion of soy does not constitute any risk, because it is 100% natural and non-toxic. It emits 90% less soot than paraffin, that is, an almost zero amount. Instead, the combustion of paraffin emits vapors and gases that are harmful to health. Increases CO2 levels in the environment. It emits black soot, a toxic residue that is not recommended for breathing.

Big question! We opt for aromatic oils since working only with essential oils is an unsustainable practice in the long term. To obtain a small amount of essential oil, large quantities of the plant you want to use are needed. For example: 150 kg of lavender flowers are needed to get 1kg of essential oil. We use aromatic oils infused with essential oils. These meet all IFRA (International Fragrance Association) standards. They are not toxic for inhalation or burning. They are not tested on animals either. This is how we help preserve our planet.

Yes, both the candles and the sprays are biodegradable. The raw materials we use decompose naturally, making them an environmentally friendly option compared to candles made from non-renewable waxes.

We make our products in a small workshop in Madrid. We carry out all the candle making processes by hand, from pouring the candles to packaging and shipping each one of them.

To ensure a safe experience and maximize the life of your candle, be sure to trim the wick to approximately half a millimeter before lighting. Let the candle melt completely on the surface with each use, to avoid the formation of tunnels, and burn it at intervals of no more than 4 hours.

To clean wax residue, we recommend using a water bath, so that the wax remains melt. Afterwards with hot water and soap, it will be shiny. You can also place the candle in the freezer for a few minutes; The wax will shrink, making it easier to remove.

We recommend burning the candles within one year for maximum performance as we do not use preservatives.
